Mumbai University admission 2024 will be held online for various courses. Students can download a registration form from the official website and fill it out with the correct details. The University of Mumbai also conducts entrance examinations for MBA, MA, M.Arch, Ph.D., etc. Students must clear the CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ GMAT examinations for an MBA. Mumbai University Distance and Open Learning
Mumbai University Institute of Distance and Open Learning is a distance education department within Mumbai University. It is the country's seventh university to launch a traditional Distance Education Program. IDOL Mumbai University offers a variety of courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Humanities, Science and Technology, Commerce and Management, Interdisciplinary, and other fields.
Admission to all UG and PG courses (except MMS & MCA) is granted based on marks obtained in the last qualifying examination (Merit-based). For MMS & MCA admissions, candidates are required to appear for the entrance exam conducted by the respective department.

Fees & Scholarships : The course fee is INR 60000 per year for OBC Category. There are scholarships from Maharashtra State Govt. As per category, there are several various scholarships. If your financial capability is not good, you need to take a loan readily available in any authorized bank.
Academics & Faculty : Routine is quite busy 9:30 am to 5:30 pm. You have to attend class, and lots of assignment are done on daily basis. In final year you have to submit major projects. Quality and Methods of teaching are average. It's good experience.

Placements & Internships : MU provides good opportunities to gain practical knowledge. In the 2nd year of MA clinical psychologist visit hospitals in Mumbai. High salary for psychologists in India is rare. An industrial psychologist can expect good salaries at MNC levels. Counselors and clinical psychologist s in private fields can earn well off.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : To study masters in clinical psychology you need to have taken at least 3 papers of Psychology in your degree course. I had studied BA with major in psychology before applying for masters. Admission in MU is merit-based. Also, you can give preference and accordingly get admission in one of the 3 specialization fields offered in MU. They are Social, industrial and clinical psychology. The cutoffs differ for open and reserved categories. Cutoffs also differ for the 3 specializations. For open cutoffs can be around 85-87%. For reserved categories, they can be till 65%.
Fees & Scholarships : Course fee per year is around INR 6-7k. Top scorers in the merit list are awarded scholarship money by the government. Those from reserved categories can avail green-ship and scholarship benefits.
Academics & Faculty : Professors are highly adept at their subjects. Stress is given to learning through experience. Spoon feeding cannot be expected at MA level. One has to give in extra efforts at this stage.
